Equithrive is the Best!
I have been feeding this product for almost a year. Started it on a 3 & 14 year olds barrel racing horses. I have tried so many different joint supplements – most were like feeding air. This however works!! I was so impressed with it I put my 26 year old retired barrel horse on this who is always sore. This product has made him very comfortable. Its a fine powder with a very small scoop. My horses have no trouble eating it up, even the finicky 26 year old. Give it a try, its a great product and it works!

This product exceeded my expectations
I have been able to stop all other supplements, including gastric aid products and joint supplements.Has saved me a lot of money. Due to adverse weather conditions my horse has spent more time than usual in his stall, which usually means either he stocks up or he needs bandages to keep down the filling in his legs. Since starting this product, he has been fine. The product works very quickly and I noticed big differences in a matter of days. I like that this can be a long term solution to problems that are related to inflammation and may allow horses to heal themselves naturally.

Worked amazing well
My 23 year old gelding has severe neck arthritis, coffin bone arthritis, and general old man lameness behind. Recently, he started tripping over ground poles, spooking, and reluctant to canter to the right. After 4 days on the loading dose, he was cantering to the right again. After 2 weeks he was back to ground poles and flying lead changes. I was so impressed I put my other, non rideable gelding on it. Time will tell if it works for him too.

Anecdotal evidence backed by scientific study
Been using this product for almost 2 years now & none of my 3 horses have shown any recurrence of previous hock issues. Also use a little myself & so far haven’t developed any arthritis unlike most others I know of my age for what ever that’s worth.

excellent product will make a difference
first rec by equine specialist vet in Lamesa, TX – started a young horse who had early cutting horse training injury, turned into coffin joint arthritis/ringbone. I thought I would have to put my gorgeous Cody down over 3 yrs ago. He is so improved with this supplement – now runs pasture and good for light riding. I put my 20 yr old & 18 yr old on and see a vast improvement over past yrs since. They had developed knobby hocks/fetlocks, stiffness – they are definitely improved – move smoother and more eager to run and handle heavier work. I have all 3 on maintenance dose and very please. It is noticeable. Highly recommend.

Too bad…
While I’m glad for other folks who had success with this, I have to be the naysayer who didn’t. My horse has moderate arthritis in both hocks and had to be injected 18 months ago, with good success. Since she has started some arthritic changes in her shoulders, I thought I’d try to make all of her feel better and perhaps bypass the injections. I’d rather pay $100 a month to slow all the problems than $1200 a year for injections and mask only one of the problems. Sadly, there wasn’t even 10 cents worth of improvement for $100 worth of supplement. My horse had become stiff-backed and angry under saddle because of the pain. She kept right on doing it after starting this supplement with the loading dose as directed and continuing it during 12 days of rest. Absolutely zero improvement. I finally threw in the towel, got the injections, and she was back to her flexible, cheerful self a week later. I’m giving this 2 stars because at least it was palatable. She was happy to eat it, and so was every other horse in the barn. She’s not one who eats every supplement, either, and she’s especially suspicious of powders. Also, a regular serving is a tiny amount, and the scoop inside is a nice one–makes fast work of preparing food. I hope you’re one of the lucky ones, but it doesn’t work for all of them.

thoughts on equithrive
Equithrive Joint (2 lb)I am trying this product for the first time on the advice of my vet. My appendix gelding is coming up on his 30th birthday in a few months and has been gimpy on his left front hoof partially dueto arthritis and other issues. I have completed the first month and he is doingbetter. {My vet said it would take at least a month to see any results.} I havebeen riding him and doing some trotting again. My hope is that he will continue toimprove a little more although I know he is getting up in years. I have been riding him all along but now feel he is more comfortable trotting.

Highly Recommended
I don’t do many reviews, but I feel obligated to pass on my experiences in the hope you can help your horse. My recommendation is if you have a horse with any arthritic problems, you need to try this. One of my horses has bone spavin and another one has just a little bit of arthritis in the hock. I’ve tried many expensive joint supplement (both recommended by vets, and homeopathic.) The one with bone spavin has had his hocks injected and other intramuscular injection remedies. When he hurts he is not as happy, does not want to move around, and obviously can’t be ridden. I saw some studies on Equithrive, along with other peoples reviews, and decided to try it. I noticed an improvement in about 4 days because he seemed happier (more personality) and was running around with the other horses. I’m now riding him at a walk/trot and he is doing well. I now have my other two horses on it and the one with minor arthritis is also performing better at the lope. I am continuing to give my bone spavin guy the loading dose because it is working so well. I’m afraid to reduce it, but it is well worth the money compared to hock injections, etc.

My horse liked it but I did not notice any difference in his way of going!

I’ve been using this product for a month. It’s very expensive. I haven’t seen any difference in my horse’s joints between it and other cheaper joint supplements I’ve used.

My horse will not eat it when it is mixed with his beet pulp and grain.
