Protects food from ants and is easy to use
Just received my pet feeder and could not be happier. Very simple to use. My furbabies love it. As soon as it starts dropping food they get all kinds of excited. I also love that the food part is protected from ants and other insects because of the bottom water reservoir. I will be telling all my friends about this.

Automatic feeder, space saver
I waited to get my puppy before reviewing this feeder and for him to be tall enough to reach the food tray. It came with instructions which is really helpful. The whole thing is easy to set up. I ordered the small size since it’s only for 1 dog, my other dog has her own bowl. It requires 4 AA batteries. It’s very functional, good plastic material, looks nice and the vertical design is a good space saver. Feeding times and portions are easy to set up. If you don’t want to program the feeding times and portion size or you want your pet on free feeding, there’s a “FEED” feature—just press it and the kibbles will drop down. The food storage holds 5 days of kibbles for my small puppy but it would be different for a different size of dog and how many would be sharing the food. The food tray insert is handy when my puppy is on portion control and the deeper food tray for free feeding. The water tray holds about 3 days supply of water, the spare water bottle is handy, but I prefer to wash the water tray and provide fresh water daily. The food tray can be turned 4-ways, facing front/back/left/right. The disadvantage of the food tray facing forward is it’s in the way when he drinks and the kibbles drop in the water tray. The negative side is it’s overpriced.

Overall product review
As someone who has been searching for a food and water dispenser for the longest, this product has exceeded all expectations. 1. The dispenser itself was easy to set up 2. The placement of the water is perfect cause there hasn’t been any spillage (my cat also has been drinking more water than ever before) 3. The functions were easy to understand and the manuel helped a lot with the steps it provided. This was definitely worth the purchase and if my cat is happy with it then I know other peoples pets will be too. Get that upgrade your pets need!!

I was excited for this product. In theory it is great! But in practice it was a pain to refill the water. It was super loud when food dispensed and the food got stuck.

Good option for feeding while away.
This was a solid feeder while it lasted. Setup was a breeze, the timer was straightforward, and the hopper handled most dry food without any fuss.The problem? My cat caught a case of the zoomies, body-checked the thing, and that was all she wrote. One good hit and the connection between the top and bottom snapped. Completely done for—no repairing it.Not sure if it’s a design flaw or just my cat being an Olympic sprinter, but knowing what I know now, I’m on the fence about buying another. YMMV.

This is such an amazing item. I live on a boat and am often away from my pooch for long periods of time. This is the perfect thing to keep Shorty fed, hydrated, and happy. It was very easy to set up and the instruction manual was a huge help. Highly recommend!!!
