Smaller Size
Good cage, the holes didn’t aline perfectly but I made it work. I added silicone glue to keep the plexiglass stable (since it was uneven, I had to glue it in place).It’s a decent size, I got it for my Syrian hamster but he seems to like it, enough space for him to burrow and his 12 inch wheel. I’d recommend getting a bigger cage, however if you’re on a budget, you could make this work (it’s a lot better than those tiny cages and/or a 20 gal tank.) It was easy to set up and came with a tiny screwdriver and screws!

Good size cage
Bought this for my 2 gerbils as they needed a bigger cage. Great size and was easy enough to put together. Only downfall was their poop sticks to the wood and is very hard to scrub off

Lots of space for my rattie to run around
The cage arrived in parts, and I had to assemble it. I used a power drill, and it took me about 25 minutes to complete. The finished cage is very spacious, and it’s for one of my ratties. I measured an outer length of 39 1/2 inches, a height of about 20 inches, and a depth of approximately 20 inches. The inner length is 38 1/4 inches, the depth about 18 3/4 inches, and the height is 18 1/2 inches. I see the cage is made of solid wood, not compressed wood. As it has two levels, my rattie has almost double the space, and he has two stairs to climb. The bottom level has about 9 inches of clearance, and the upper level has 9 1/2 inches with the lid on. There is a long vent on each side near the top, and two vents on the lid that are almost as long as the lid itself. The clear acrylic front and top allow me to clearly view what my rattie is up to. There’s enough room for a flying saucer as well. To clean the cage, I lift the acrylic sheet in the front and throw out the pads. My rat likes to look outside when the lid is opened.

Sturdy enough for a large rodent. I’m not giving it a five simply because the picture is misleading. It doesn’t come with any accessories.

This is nicer than I expected. It’s solid wood and easy to assemble. All the holes lined up with no issues. It feels sturdy and secure.
