Impressive Fast Heating and Sturdy Lamp
I picked up this heat lamp to use in my future coop, and I’m really impressed with it so far. It heats up in seconds and puts out a steady, comforting warmth… exactly what I’ll want for keeping chickens comfortable once the coop is set up. I also love that it has two heat settings, so I can adjust it depending on the weather or the age of the chicks.The build quality feels solid, with a sturdy aluminum shell, a long cord, and a waterproof design that should handle outdoor conditions without any issues. Even though I’m not using it full-time yet, the setup was simple, and everything about it seems reliable.Overall, it looks like it’ll be a great, dependable heat lamp for when the coop is ready, and I’m glad I grabbed it ahead of time.

Ok I am very particular about my heat lamps for my pets. This is by far the best one I’ve had. Two different heat setting and they hold a lot of heat! Must get.

Doesn’t work
Glad my chicks and ducklings had another source of heat in their brooder. I set this up last night, turned on, and today morning when I went to check the brooder, it was off, and doesn’t work, can’t tell for how long it worked, but definitely worked for less than 7 hours. Just glad my babies are alive.

Our baby buns are finally old enough to be outside. I was paranoid with the cold because they were so tiny when we got them. Anyway, they love their heat lamp and their chicken coop! Haha I didn’t want to drill holes in the roof of their apartment so I stapled the chains to the inside of the roof and then ran the cord out of the vent and stapled the cord up so they can’t reach it or the heater. It puts off a lot of heat even on low it’s literally perfect because their door to the outside part of their pen is open 24/7. Oreo almost immediately flopped over super relaxed when i turned it on. I’ll update if anything goes sideways like it burns out fast etc.
