Face house toward you, hinge bumps go on the outside, left side of house.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this item for my jumping spider because the house is really cute. This kit is really easy to put together, I only had trouble with the door because the instructions were a little confusing and I haven’t put hinges on before.Quality: Very nice quality.Looks: Super cute!Ease of assembly: Very easy, I only had a little trouble with the door.Functionality:Very nice, door opens easily, nice vent holes and easy feed door.Value for money:Definitely a little pricy for the size and material, but very cute.Size: Would like the house to have been a little bigger for the price, but I’m not disappointed.

Good Value, Nice home for a jumping spider.
This is the third type of enclosure we have ordered for our little jumping spider, and so far is our favorite. The acrylic is cut perfectly to put together, so the quality is great, and the acrylic (plastic) material is clear with no scratches. The enclosure comes with a protective film removal tool that is useless but not important. The size is perfect for our bold face jumping spider, giving her a bit more room over her last square enclosure. The multiple openings are a plus when it comes to feeding and cleaning the enclosure, and the magnetic doors work well.Very nice enclosure, great value for the price, and perfect sized for a jumping spider to call home.

Exceeded my expectations!
Home spood home, indeed! This little house enclosure is the PERFECT size for a jumper, and is super easy to put together. It came thoughtfully packaged and even included a little screwdriver for the little plastic screws (though I didn’t need it).I added stained glass film to the back and it looks so nice.Just get it!

This is not suitable for any reptile.
I’m expecting my enclosure tomorrow, so will update my review then, but for the record I just wanted to state that this enclosure in no way is fit for any reptile period. This is suitable for maybe a tarantula and definitely jumping spiders but not for any reptiles so I believe the picture of the gecko enclosure should be taken off the advertisement because that’s showing potential customers that is a suitable habitat and some people may not know any better.

Must have for sure
I absolutely love the setup/shape and my daughter loved decorating it. Super adorable! Her spider has plenty of room so move and build hammocks. We purchased artificial grass for the bottom and it is super cute! Easy access to deliver food and strong/durable. Must have for sure.

cheap
got this for a jumping spider. it’s a perfect size. it was very fun to build, easy and no gaps. it looks amazing!!however when i received it one of the magnets wasn’t facing the right way so closing the door didn’t work. eventually that same magnet got pulled out of place by another magnet and i was able to turn it the correct orientation and fit it into place again, but this means just pulling on the door will open it. thought this would be okay and i just wouldn’t use the door, and instead feed him through the top port hole, which worked wonderfully.then after just 5 days of homing my spider in this, the door opened and the door latch was holding two magnets. my spider got out. luckily i was able to find him and put him back in his old home.overall was not worth the money and hassle.

Very easy to assemble and easy to take apart and put back together for cleaning. I would definitely recommend this purchase for someone looking for a small jumping spider enclosure.

The kit arrived well packaged. The acrylic pieces were protected from scratches with removable protective film. The acrylic is very solid and seems to be very durable. Instructions are easy to follow, though a little time consuming due to small parts. The entire enclosure is transparent for maximum viewing and good light exposure, and there are no rough edges on the material. Two openings…small magnetic one on top for easy feeding, and a large front door. The enclosure is well designed ….very cute, while being functional at the same time. This is a very small sized enclosure that is perfect for a jumping spider and should last a long time.

We have a very similar design of enclosure for a small tarantula, albeit one that’s longer than it is tall. Functionally this is put together in a similar way with acrylic panels secured with rubber rings. Once together I wouldn’t say it’s the sturdiest thing ever but it does stay in one piece at least with flex in most of the panels if you pick it up.It looks as it does in the photos, the top accents have a neat iridescent sheen, and while there are little rabbit ear things that secure on top you can just as easily leave them off, because, well, they’re an aesthetic choice.Assembly is simple with the removal of the protective film taking longer than actually putting the parts together. There is a little metal fingernail cap that does a better job of picking at the film on the edges than I expected, and the only tricky bit of install is the hinge on the door – don’t tighten anything until it’s secure in the opening.Other than it shifting a bit when moving around, my main concern involves how the base is secured. Or not secured, I guess. My other enclosure has a tray of sorts in the bottom, so when you spray to wet down surfaces you aren’t going to get any dripping out the base. This little house shaped enclosure is not watertight in any way, so any amount of moisture will easily drip out at the bottom. Granted, you could easily run a bead of clear silicone around the base and maybe up the sides a tiny bit, but that’s not how it’s set up. If you keep it dry and don’t move it around, it’s not bad. And it is adorable.

Both my spider & I love it. Was simple to put together.Only downfall it the “feeding hole door” doesn’t fully open

I was really happy with this Mushroom Jumping Spider Enclosure. It snaps together without tools, and the magnetic feeding door makes feeding super easy without risking escapes. The acrylic is crystal-clear, so I can watch my little jumper explore, and the ventilation is solid. It is on the smaller side, though, so it’s best for jumpers, mantis nymphs, or tiny tarantula slings. Overall, it’s a great, simple starter enclosure that works exactly as advertised.
