Love this little donut!
Love this little soft donut! Use it to keep my mini poodle from getting out from under the fence. She’s tricky!

This worked fantastic for our puppy after spay. She could eat and play without the difficulty of the plastic cones.

It worked great! It’s MUCH better than the cursed plastic cone. This one deflated a bit over time because our cat chewed on the valve, but I don’t blame the manufacturer; I fixed this problem by hot-gluing the holes. My mom had to poke a hole through the safety valve because it was hard for her to blow into it. The fabric was a little hard to clean but I’m sure the velvet fabric of other sellers is much harder to clean. I wish it was a wipeable waterproof material, but I couldn’t find that being sold anywhere.

Much nicer and less stressful for your pet than a plastic cone.
This sure beats the hard plastic cone that the vet has, and probably costs about the same.

Great replacement for the plastic cones
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This looked the most durable product that would allow my dog to be more comfortable and have access to food and water. This worked great after she had emergency surgery and would need to wear a cone for a couple of weeks. She really liked it better and was able to have more freedom. Durability:Been wearing it a couple days and no problems. Stays inflated and easy to put on.

Not that great
Going to return this weekend. Unfortunately, he is able to sit in his fetal position and lick his cut that on his back legs. Also, he was but in his ear by another dog which is the main reason I got this but when I walk him it allows objects to touch said ear, and possibly lodge dirt into his dog bite or even scrape the wound even more. I was hoping this would work but back this goes. I guess the old school long cone style one will have to suffice moving forward. Gave this 3 stars bc of the comfort and how easy it is to get on.

Comfy, Secure, Total Win!
Everything about this is a win! This donut was easy to blow up (just like a pool float), but make sure that you follow the recommendation and only fill it up about 75-80%. I have a small Shihtzu that was neutered and he had a hernia repaired exactly a week ago, and he has had this donut on almost around the clock ever since. This donut has prevented him from chewing or licking his incisions and after a day or so, he didn’t even notice the donut there. It is secure with the thick band of velcro and I have not had to re-inflate it one time since blowing it up initially. My pup has slept through the night and has not tried to shake off or pull out of his donut. In fact, he uses this donut as a pillow because it is so comfortable for him. If you have a dog that will have stitches, I definitely recommend this product. The vet told me that the cone they sent him home with would be fine, but my dog was trying to get out of that nonstop, so I am thankful I already had this donut waiting to swap out. Definitely get it ahead of time so that you are prepared for after surgery.
