Great Automatic Litter Box for a Great Price!!!
I absolutely love this automatic cat litter box! Very quiet! Love the app and how it can track multiple cats. I have 6 full grown female cats and 1 male kitten. 3-4 of them are using this box. I can’t smell it! Easy to clean and replace bags. Goes about 1 week to fill the bag. Already saving on litter. I ordered the SC01 as a second box and had to return it, I ordered a second SC02. Hoping to fully switch to the automatic boxes. I was hesitant to spend the money on an automatic, but these are priced decent.

I would give it five stars if my larger cat wasn’t terrified of it to the point of not using it. It’s a great litter box don’t get me wrong, easy to clean, built well, looks as advertised, and it didn’t come with weird smells or anything like that. It works great with my smaller 10lb female cat that we’re trying to get to lose a few pounds, but her brother who’s about 14lbs is terrified because he barely fits in it. I bought this especially for him because he will poop on the ground in the bathroom, or on my mother in laws bed, if the litter box is even slightly unclean, but he refuses to even enter the litter box, now pooping on the mat in front of it. This litter box advertises that’s it’s made with larger cats, even those weighing up to 22lbs, in mind but I’ve found that couldn’t be further from the truth, Nugget, my 14lb boy cat, isn’t a Mainecoon or anything like that, he’s just an American Short Hair with FIV that causes him to have issues with weight gain, and he takes up the whole litter box when placed inside. It’s a 5 star product if your cat is on the smaller end of the spectrum, but if your cat is any larger 10 lbs good luck getting them to go inside this tiny contraption. I wish they had made it bigger, I don’t think the people that made this have any clue how big a 22lb cat is, if a 14lb cat doesn’t have room to turn around or cover his litter.Edit: My large cat has started using it. Still wish it was a little bigger but it’s better now that he’s actually using it.

Loved by 2 cat owners and their cats
Almost perfect. The button that allows you to have it clean extra, does not work for me. To get it to clean manually, I have to unplug it. Other than that, my cat, that refused to use another brand, stepped right into this one. I set the cleaning cycle 4 minutes after she is out which helped with her “litter terrors”. The mat that sets outside the box catches almost ALL the litter so no more litter all through the house. A big plus. The box itself is easy to clean and set up. Extremely quiet. Before you introduce your cat, check all the advisce that is out there. My cat was terrified of the one that had flashing lights noisy cleaning cycle. She also wouldn’t jump up into the one that was high up with a small round opening. Katy is 14.5 lbs. Bottom line: look at what your cat is using now, and make sure the one you get is similar. BTW, I bought one for our granddaughter whose cat is very fussy. That cat immediately took to this box.

Great Self Cleaning Litter Box – IF UT STARTS WORKING ON THE APP AGAIN
Last Update… This is a keeper.. I tried other litter boxes & had issues with several.. The only issue so far was the time the network went down but it came back up in a day or two… The box worked fine during the outage, just had to manually ‘flush the toilet’.. Def keeping this one & might even buy a 2nd one.. We have 4 cats & they use it all the time but still use the metal litter box about half the time, also.. If I had 2, I would get rid of the metal box totally, but until then, it’s half & half.. Have considered getting a different style self cleaning litter box just for the cats to have options, like a closed system.. That being said, I like this one enough to just have 2 of them & I know all of my cats will use them.. It’s hard to fix something that’s not broken, so will probably stick with what I know works..Update… Obviously Meowant network was just down all day.. The app just came back & with all the info & customer service let me know they updated their app.. It was after the fact but at least I know it isn’t an issue with the box itself..I wanted to dislike this cat litter box, plus it’s my 2nd attempt at a self cleaning litter box (had to return an open top – brand).. I have to say this litter box is growing on me.. Out of the box it was super simple to set up, connect to my wifi, & work the app.. I typically use Clumping Cat Litter which works well in this machine.. When adding litter to the pan, if you put too much in it, the machine will dump the excess right in to the trash can (litter recepticale) during the first cleaning cycle.. My little explorer black cat, jumped tight in & took to it immediately & uses nothing else.. Two of my other cats have started using this automatic box about half of the time & are definitely warming up to it.. So far, I have not had a single issue of this box locking up, freezing up or any other major issues with the cleaning cycle &/or the basic workings of the Meowant Litter box.. There is an issue, which I contacted the company about (and most other reviews discuss) which is the weighing feature/the scale, it is terrible (totally inaccurate).. This self cleaning litter box adds 4-5 lbs per cat & does it every single use.. I literally had 2 of my cats weighed the day before I received this box & it’s not even close to their true weight.. For me personally, I find this frustrating & the reason is, during the setup, the app asks you to set up cat PROFILES, and it asks for a Pic, Weight, DOB, etc… If the weight measurement was a deal breaker for me personally, then this litter box would have already been returned.. Another minor issue, I discovered, is the litter screen does not stay all the way back, out of the way once in the resting position (after a cleaning cycle is completed) so I just reach in & push it back myself.. One other little issue is, once the garbage receptacle gets over half full, it can dump some litter back in to the box if not emptied.. Although, this is a typical drawback of most self cleaning litter boxes that do not have the litter receptacle under the bottom of the drum.. That being said, believe it or not, so far this box has performed better than I expected.. I would gladly give this litter box 5 stars if these minors issues were, or are corrected in the future.. I have a friend waiting to purchase a self cleaning litter box from Amazon & is waiting for my recommendation.. I’m on the fence, I do recommend the Meowant self cleaning litter box overall.. However, the minor issues might or might not be a deal breaker for her & others, but not hearing back from the company at all could be the nail in the coffin.. Personally I plan on keeping this self cleaning Litterbox for the foreseeable future..
