Perfect fit
Car seat was perfect. I drive a Kia soul. It fits perfectly in the backseat and holds my husky just fine. Keeps her hair and her nicely in the back seat. Easy to set up. Protects the car, folds up easy and put in back when seats are needed.

Good quality pet carrier
This is the best carrier I have had. This would have received 5 stars except the included safety strap is dangerous. The strap goes through the small opening in the bottom rear corner to plug into the seat belt holder & the other end in my dog’s harness. This is a nice idea but should not be used. In only a three minute ride, my precious 24# dog had the strap wrapped around her rear back leg. Had I not stopped soon, this could have caused a severe leg injury. It would be best if the restraint strap is hooked into the harness from the top, not the bottom & should be redesigned. For safety, I looked at a head rest car restraint available on Amazon, but these also aren’t safe since a reviewer said it snapped in a car accident. I love this carrier since if I’m on a long trip, it’s big enough for her to lie down on her nice comfy bed that I put in the bottom. The solution was to buy a strong thick rope like leash with a loop on the end that I threaded through the loop and around the headrest so it’s dropping from ABOVE and hooked into the back of her harness. This way she is safe, can turn to look out the window or look at me, and not become tangled.Some reviewers said it had to be put behind the driver however I had no trouble putting it behind the passenger side so it’s easier for her to see me if she wants to & I can reach back to pet her if I’m at a red light. In this direction, I used the extra top straps that are now next to the door, to also hook into the headrests for extra stability in addition to the adjustable headrest straps.Some reviewers said it tears or the zippers were a problem, however my dog is not a chewer nor very big so I don’t know if that was an issue for others. I found it very well made, was easy to put together and install. The directions did not address the extra top straps on one end, so I was puzzled at first & used them for extra security as mentioned previously. The bottom is very secure & doesn’t bend over the end of the seat as mentioned by previous reviews but I think securing the extra straps help plus my dog is only 24#. The photo is in a Subaru Outback. Overall I am happy with my purchase but I do not recommend using their restraint strap as mentioned above & you need a better system for safe restraint.Pros:Good qualityTravel abilityRoomSturdinessEase of useCons:Security (different restraint safety system is needed)

2019 Outback Can Have this and the car seat in it…
Great seat for our pyrenese/hound dog Lucy (90lbs) to sit in our 2019 Outback. We have a graco car seat next to her dog seat and they fit perfectly. Haven’t done any long travels with her in it, but when we go hiking she’s done fine in it. She can lie down, sit down and stand (although her tail can get in the baby’s space when she does that). It’s sturdy and does the job well. She will sometimes stick her head over into baby’s space when both are in there but mostly she’s interested in boofing out the window. Easy to use and pretty straight forward to install and take out.

My dog is more comfortable in the car now
This has made riding in the car with my dog so much better. I think she feels more secure and comfortable. She can still move around but not all over the car so it’s better for all of us. I wish the front panel was mesh. The sides are but the front is solid and it blocks the AC. It’s HOT where we live and I can’t get her cooled down fast enough. It’s not hard to get in and out of the car but it takes some time and it is a bit of a pain which is a bummer. I don’t love that it’s always set up in the back seat. It’s kinda like having a baby seat. People can’t just jump in my car, we have to take it all apart first. But, she is with us in the car enough that it’s easier to leave it in.

Great product, wished it lasted longer
The dog “hammock,” as I like to call them, worked well this summer and served the purpose it was intended for to a “T.” It protected the seats even with an over 100 pound Labrador that loves water and mud, and kept them dry and clean. It was easy to install and easy to remove when needed. I like the sturdy base because my dog was able to use the whole area and was not afraid to fall between seats or off of seat and get tangled.However, I bought mine 3 months ago and apparently that is the “shelf life.” One of the seems holding the zipper mechanism on completely detached so I have only the small Velcro strap to keep that corner closed now. No real way to fix it so I might as well buy another one, just deciding if the price is worth the length of time I will get out of it before needing a new one…
