I’m a 67 YO male, and my digestive system is starting to slow down a bit. Normally, I’m on an AM daily schedule.But lately it’s become erratic. Seems like I’m starting to go towards a 40 to 48 hour digestive cycle.Makes me feel bloated and cranky.My doctor told me to try using a Probiotic for 1 month. I did not expect next-day results, but I got them!It’s only been a few days, but the change in the way my system is operating has been excellent.I started off with one pill at the noon and evening meals. Next week, I’m going to try just one pill per day.I feel better and I’m enjoying my bicycle rides more. My digestive system thinks it’s 25 again. There are no side effects.My system is operating very smoothly now, ‘normally’ even.. Like 40 years ago, when I was in tip-top shape.Last summer, eating Probiotic yogurt did nothing for me, so I was skeptical about trying Probiotic tablets.But after reading a bunch of Amazon reviews, I was sold! So far, I’m very pleased with the results.I’m hoping this is not short term, and this product will keep on working for me.If there is any change, I’ll update this review.The bottles are well sealed and seem to be air tight, with a drying packet inside with the tablets.The label says to refrigerate after opening. So I’m following those directions, and NOT droppingthese tablets into my 7-Day pill box..

With acidophilus, I think you have to experiment with different dosages before you find the one that works best for you, these work the best for me and fortunately are a great price on amazon (especially with the availability of Subscribe & Save).Note that, with most acidophilus, it seems to take about a 2 weeks to get to a point where you are going to know if it works for you. I’ve tried a lot of different kinds and most of the acidophilus that is the really high dosages (which others sometimes swear by) just tears me up inside. This is a nice, low dose of acidophilus, which is probably great for somebody that is just starting to try an acidophilus treatment — why not go with the lower dose, that is cheaper, and see if it works for you too? I also often wonder what use the “over 100 billion live cultures” brands are just washing through and/or causing more problems (these nature’s bounty brand say “over 100 million”).I take one every morning (occasionally a second if I know I’m going out for a disturbing meal and feel like I need some backup from my acidophilus friends) and it seems to do the trick. From reading other reviews, I only now noticed that the jar says to keep it in the fridge after opening. I’ve been taking 1/day for about 2-3 years and I haven’t been doing that, so if you forget, it’s probably not the biggest deal (though I now keep them in the fridge).

Terrible and does not work. I have taken probiotics for several years and they keep my stomachs balanced.These have no impact. They are also pills rather than capsule – I think the probiotics are not active since they are pills and went through a formulation process.
