Kit –
Saves me a lot of money!
I bought this as part of a bundle for my new puppy. This is the perfect size for her cage and carrier. I also rest her water and food bowl on one and place another one on the side for her to do her business.This soaks up a lot of liquid, stay in place well (used on tiles) and helps with potty training.The reusable feature is great as I’ve been using these for a week and have been able to wash and reuse them without issue. Although it is a bit of money upfront, it is well worth it in terms of long term savings.

Great for sick days
These are terrific. This was actually my second purchase as I bought a set years ago that are still in use but wanted more. My dogs are housetrained but tend toward stomach issues. One throws up a lot and tends to do it on an expensive orthopedic dog bed that is hard to clean. Whenever he is having a flare up I cover it in these and cleanup is a cinch. They launder well and absorb well, protecting floors and furniture and as a bonus, the dog who throws up a lot seems to like laying on them when they are clean too.

Surprisingly sturdy for its size, this blanket held its ground like a veteran couch cover—despite my pup’s enthusiastic “dig to the center of the earth” routine. It’s small, soft, and low maintenance, yet somehow tougher than the overpriced dog throws I’ve tried before. Didn’t expect much for the price, but it exceeded the mission: protect, endure, and look decent doing it. Very pleased.

Don’t waste your money
In the photo, this item appears to be a bit cushy. It’s actually a pancake! One piece of fuzzy material sewn to a piece of vinyl with tiny dots on it. The vinyl is the opposite of slip proof! Even with two fabric pieces, it’s very flimsy.I know the photo has been altered because the expression on the dogs face is unnatural and you don’t actually see red bars of heat rising from the mat. But the mat itself has been altered to look like a cushion when it’s barely more than a placemat on a table!Just to be fair, I tested it by sitting down with my legs extended in a recliner. I placed the mat under my legs to see if it would reflect my body heat as advertised. Yes, it was made for dogs, but how does this piece of material know the difference between a dog and a human? If it’s made to reflect heat, it will work for a human.Y’all… it doesn’t work. It’s a complete waste of money if you’re looking for something that truly reflects body heat and has some softness to it.Here’s a shopping tip that I belatedly picked up on:If you want your pet’s heat reflective mat to also have some cushion, you must read the full product description by scrolling down to the bottom.If it says “removable and washable” then you have to assume there’s some sort of cushion or you wouldn’t need to “remove the cover before washing”.This item only said “machine washable”. That tells me there’s nothing heat reflective in between the two pieces of flimsy fabric.If only I had paid attention to that fact BEFORE I made a purchase!Not that it matters because I’m sending it back, but it was sold as New although it had clearly been opened and resealed with clear tape. It should’ve been labeled “Used-Like New” & discounted.
