Better than the freeze dried minnows I’m buying elsewhere.
I think we’re going to stick to these fishies for the boys. These are much more cost effective per weight than what I was buying through Vital Essentials. The size of these minnows are awesome, legitimately the size of a finger. Like someone else said it’s like feeding your cat an entire fish. I loved giving them these “Big Boys”. It’s like hearing my cats say you’re an excellent hunter Mom, and thank you so much. Feeding them minnows in general has given them much more soft and sleek coats. My cat has been trying to get into the jar himself since Day 1, so that pretty much tells you how much they like them. The more fishy smell the better because this is like dinner bells to a cat. The jar seals well when closed so there are no smells lingering around. Cat food is one thing but if I were a natural born predator I’d be way more happy about eating something like this. They seem happier now that we’ve incorporated minnows and organ meats into their diets. I think these should be a staple for cat owners. Good brand and will be back for more of the fishes!

Crispy Fish Treats Without the Strong Odor
My 3-year-old Jindo mix absolutely loves these PAWUP freeze-dried minnows. They’re crispy and crunchy, and what I really appreciate is that they don’t have a strong fishy smell—and they don’t seem salty either.

Kitty goes Mad for the Maidenhead
My cat is Crazy for these! This is the 3rd brand Ive tried! Even tho she’s liked every brand, these are by far the best ones! They’re HUGE, like the size of my pointer finger! It’s like giving my cat a complete fish dinner! She’s Mad for them! She’s 15yo and never had a real fish before, so it amazes me how I can get her to chase me around to get ahold of this big little fish!! When she eats it you can clearly hear the crunching going on! And, Im pretty sure she’s having better bowel movements bc of them! Excuse the TMI ! The container keeps them from getting busted up, and keeps that fishy smell purrfectly contained. They don’t stink up the house, and there’s no lingering smell either. I think theyre worth the money! They’re a healthy snack that she loves, so I love them too!

Not appealing to my animals
These are not worth the money. We used 1 and it wasn’t entirely all eaten.and they are not returnable. My dog and 2 cats didn’t like it.

I cannot stop laughing
The usual minnows go so quickly that I decided the bigger container made more sense… then I opened the package & the fish are almost the same size as Lilith. I always hide them around the houso.They can hunt for them. sSophia is not having any of these fish, she’s not interested but Lilith is going to leave half chewed fish all over…exciting timesUpdate: Dec 2025 just purchased another one! Most of the minnows are very large which makes it easier to carry them, slide them around the hardwood floors & drown them in the fountain. A+ product. We transfered to a glass cookie/candy jar so they can sit out yet they’re still hidden from view. The Skull helps so that people don’t get grossed out yet Lilith knows instantly she is getting her favorite treat. *its good to transfer to keep out vermin or bugs*

You can’t return these if your pet does not like them
My cat hates them. I got some smaller ones at a boutique dog store and she absolutely love them. Some of these are really big and some are about the size I had It doesn’t matter the size these do have a smell where the other ones did not. I don’t know what to say cuz you can’t return them. I’m sure my neighbor’s dog won’t love them he’ll eat anything.
