These work really well. They are a must for southern Midwest states. When placed on the tick you can remove the entire tick. We have one hanging on the frig, 1 on my purse, and 1 in the bathroom drawer

Seem up to the task
I have not had an opportunity to remove a tick with one of these, for which I am very glad. However, I practiced manipulating one on the off-chance I will have to use it some day. The directions for use that came with are very clear and easy to understand. They seem well-designed to do as promised. I have one hanging from my keychain, and will be handing the rest out at an event that takes place in a notoriously tick-laden park. Will update should a necessary use occur. I like that the variety of colors will help folks know they have the one they were given.
