The brush is plastic, but it’s a sturdy plastic so it doesn’t feel like I’m gonna break it when I use it. The little blue hand mitts feel like a good quality rubber, they’re thick and substantial. One comb is all metal got a little weight to it and feels very well-made. The other comb has a plastic handle with metal teeth again it’s a good heavy duty quality plastic. This set is excellent quality for the price.

Taming the Maltipoo Mess
We’ve got a female Maltipoo named Joy who the girls absolutely adore, but keeping her coat from turning into a matted disaster is a constant battle. My daughters are 11 and 13, so a lot of the dog chores fall on me, and I was tired of pulling hair out of old-fashioned brushes with my pocket knife. I’m giving this 5-in-1 grooming kit five stars because it actually makes a tedious chore quick and keeps the dog from looking like a stray.The thing I like most is the self-cleaning feature on the shedding brush. You just click the button and the hair pops right off in a neat little clump. It saves me from having to pick through sharp metal bristles, which I appreciate. The different attachments are solid too, especially the deshedding tool that gets deep into her coat without irritating her skin. Joy usually hates being brushed, but she sits still for this one, so it clearly doesn’t scratch or pull too hard. The black finish looks like a real tool you’d keep in a garage, not some flimsy toy.The only thing I don’t particularly care for is that the handle feels a bit small in my hand. I’ve got larger, older hands, and I wish it had a bit more heft to it for a better grip. It’s also a lot of pieces to keep track of if the kids start using it and leave things lying around the house. However, considering the price of a professional groomer these days, this kit is an excellent value. It paid for itself after the first two uses by letting me handle the maintenance at home. It’s a practical, well-engineered solution for keeping the dog presentable without a struggle.

Good to get stickers out . But not great . If it was one whole piece instead of the removable it would probably work better . Good idea , just not there yet . I will be ordering a different one soon
