Great to keep your pet safe
This was perfect for my dog who had a large mass on her head and have it surgically removed. Because it is soft and fairly comfortable, she was able to live in it full time. Eventually we were able to remove the plastic portion so she basically just had a pillow at all times. It’s super easy to put together and very durable. So much better than the plastic alternative we used to have to use. She was able to eat, drink, relax, and even play in it. Snow was a little difficult as it got stuck in the plastic part so we would remove that before going outside. Would definitely recommend!

Comfy cone
Fits so well and much more comfortable for her, and for when she comes up to us. We no longer get poked by the old plastic cone lol. It blocks her abilities to bite/scratch herself when she has allergy flare ups.

Very well made, cushioned neck. Extra strong velcro. Also love the collar tabs. It runs a tad smaller than size chart. So go up a size if your 2 ” from max. You and your pet will be happier. Love the extended cone.

Works, and it’s cute, and seems more comfy than the cone of shame!
Our poor furbaby licked herself raw, and I’ve been looking for a way to keep her from doing it without subjecting her to the cone of shame. This looks like a nice compromise. Something where the cone size might be large enough to prevent her from getting to where she shouldn’t while not being so large, it should have orbiting moons.This was easy enough to put on. It’s inflatable, and not so large that you pass out before it’s fully inflated. I’m old and fairly sedentary, and I was able to blow this up easily. On the other hand, I am a real wind bag….Once inflated, you zip on the plastic cone part. The pieces pretty much tell you which way they go together – the zipper insertion pin on the plastic cone goes into the zipper insertion box on the inflatable donut. Zip up, and then use the loop and tape to connect the edges. That’s it. I was able to put it together and on our pups, by myself, in less than 5 minutes.And it worked. Our pups didn’t lick herself at all while she had the cone on. Couldn’t fully assess whether that was because the cone interfered with access to her nethers. Or if it was because just wearing it seemed to break her spirit, where she didn’t really want to do anything. Because the donut fabric is made from a soft fleece, she was, at least, able to lie down and sleep in it, which was nice. Poor baby! Thankfully, she only has to wear this until her raw spot heals, and this seems to be helping, so there’s that.

Great alternative to plastic “e-collar”
This donut shaped collar is a great alternative to the horrible e-collars you normally get at the vet. One of my dogs is getting surgery and luckily they now have these much more humane options to prevent your best friends from disturbing any wounds. I also have to say that my baby looks just adorable in her avocado donut, don’t you think? I tried hard not to laugh at her plight.The collar is easily inflated by mouth. Just pinch the valve when blowing in, and it will prevent air from escaping. To deflate, pinch the valve again and squeeze the air out. The velvety soft cover is not removable, but I believe the whole thing is washable. The inner side of the ring has some loops to attach it firmly to the dog’s regular collar, to prevent the patient from wiggling out of it. There is an added flexible, clear shield that gets attached by use of a zipper. I think we can get away with leaving it off for now. I will observe my dog’s behavior and decide if it needs to be attached or not.

Great With a Small Design Flaw
This XL avocado-print inflatable dog collar is adorable and works just as expected overall. It inflated easily, stayed secure, and the anti-licking guard shield provides good protection without being too bulky. My dog was able to eat, drink, and rest comfortably while wearing it.The only design flaw is that the zipper on the lick guard doesn’t go completely around the circumference of the donut. Because of that, you have to pull it together tightly to Velcro it closed, which creates a small dip or lower area in the shield. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it slightly reduces the coverage and protection that the shield is meant to provide.Otherwise, great quality, fun print, and much more comfortable than the traditional cone!
