Totally Worth the Price!
Totally worth the price! Built extremely well. I love this. Super easy to maintain. Scoop out the poop. Mix the pellets around and the pre sawdust falls below. I take the top off about every 5 days. Grab the corners of the pee pad and bring together to put in a plastic bag. NO MESS! Best litter box you’ll ever buy.

Solid Litter Box (once you go pine, you never go back)
When I first got my cat, I went with the Breeze litter system, as I already knew I had no interest in traditional cat litter ever. He liked it, and so did I, but when it was becoming obvious that it may be time to replace it, I started looking for a stainless steel litter box. I wasn’t familiar with pine litter until I got this litter box but reading the reviews I saw others comparing it to the clay pellets in the previous system and decided to give this a go.Because the pine and clay pellets are similar in shape, my cat had no problems at all switching from his old box to this one, though I did still mix the pellets in the new box for a little while before switching him to only pine pellets. I actually enjoy refreshing the litter box now, because the newly poured pine pellets smell so pleasant. The sifting works, but I also started buying litter box liners to really make it easy because otherwise I think that the level to which the pine deteriorates could get a bit bothersome to clean – but instead I just tie it all up in the liner and replace that and the pad. I do still get litter thrown out of the box, though not as much as with my last one, and I would say it may depend on your cat as well, mine really digs and kicks around in there.I’ve had it for about 5 months now and I love it. The size is good, I like the look, and I’ve had no smell issues. If you can, wait till it goes on sale just so you get a better deal, but I do think it will hold up well enough to make it worth the price.

Nice sturdy – leakproof kitty toilet.
Very large and sturdy. Will not leak. The grated tub has pretty large holes so a few of the tidy cat pine nuggets fell thru. I gave it 4 stars because paperwork said it was supposed to have an entrance floor mat but it was not in the box.

Perfect for us
We have been using a modified Breeze system with pelletized horse bedding for cat litter (which is way cheaper than litter). But the Breeze system is plastic and it does absorb the smell of urine and so it needs lots of regular scrubbing. This litter box is metal and does not absorb the odor! So much cleaner and easier to take care of. The pelletized horse bedding is $6 for a 40 pound bag and easily lasts 6 months for one cat. So it is super economical! So glad to have found this litter box.

Works great
So far it seems great. My cats use it, I like that it’s plenty big, even my 20 lb. chubby cat fits in it fine, and with the top piece as a guard around the sides and back I don’t have to worry about anyone accidently going outside the box. It would be nice if there was a second bottom pan for cleaning when you don’t need to do a full litter change, but I knew that going in so its fine! I plan to buy another one eventually to replace one of my other plastic litter boxes!

It’s a good litter box
The included pee pads are nice, though you can just put a trash bag in the bottom layer and change it in like 2 seconds. My cats aren’t the smartest, so they don’t really dig at the pellets, but giving the box a solid shake does the work just fine. It doesn’t filter smell very well but there’s ways to get around it. All in all, a very well made litter box that’s easy to clean.

Clean, looks nice, hard to lift top pan.
It’s been a challenge to transition my cat to pellets. Still working on it after a month. I do like how the urine goes right through into the bottom pan. Puppy pee pads work well. The poop is easy to get out with the scooper that comes with it. My cat hates the high side attachment so I just don’t put it on. The only drawback is trying to lift the top pan up to get to the bottom pan. It’s very difficult to get my finger tips between the pans so I can lift the top one off. I’m still debating whether I want to continue dealing with that issue, it hurts my fingers and the top pan is heavy.

Well worth it for pellet use
Have 2 cats, and this is the 3rd litter box I bought. I went through different litter with the other boxes, and tried the pellets on a friend’s recommendation which work good but didn’t last but 3 or 4 days even with scooping twice a day, it smelled. The same friend recommended a pan like this and this works great. I can scoop the poo out, and the pellets will fall out of this scoop. Once that’s done I rake everything around to let the sawdust from the pee fall down. It doesn’t smell as bad. It stay cleaner longer and easy to take everything outside to the hose when I clean it, to get it all good and cleaned!
