These work pretty well. I still find it easier to just use a pair of tweezers, but sometimes, that’s not a possibility. Comes in a 3 pack, so you can keep one in a car, one in your house, and one in your camping gear. Always good to have one on hand, because you never know. Easy to use.

Better to have the tool and not need it than to need it and not have it. This little metal tool effectively removes ticks without hassle. Put one in the car and the utility drawer at home because you never know.

These tick removers are light weight and look simple to use. I love how narrow the opening gets so it looks like it should easily remove even small ticks. Fortunately I haven’t had any ticks since I ordered these but now I’ll be able to add them to my camping supplies for the next time we discover one! These are well made and they are durable. They came exactly the color described as well.

This is one thing that should have handy in their first aid box. It’s the kind of thing that you might not ever need to use, BUT – if the need arises, you want it NOW.I’ve used another style before to pop the little buggers out of a cat, thought I’d have these handy too – “just in case”This is made of nice stainless steel – NO sharp edges. small, and can keep in your wallet if you need to. The card says that you can bend it to fit your needs – I do see that it is NOT super bendy (less bendy than an average credit card) so if you are needing this in a really tight spot, it might get awkward. Also – ticks are known to love to hide in “nooks and crannies”I’ve seen “tick situations” where this would fit just fine, and some where it would just not be practical (under the chin of a tiny cat, for instance)Again – I’d rather have it around than not !!! It does look like it will work quite well in some situations.I hope you never have to use it too!

Good for your camping kit
These are great to keep around as a “just in case,” which is exactly why I bought them. We like to go hiking and although we’ve gotten lucky and haven’t gotten ticks yet, it’s really just a matter of time. We also live in an area that has ticks and I’ve seen them trying to crawl on my dog. She is thankfully on yearround flea and tick medication, but you just never know.Love that they come in multi-packs so that you can keep one in the car, one with your camping or backpacking gear, and one in the house, since these are the places you’re most likely to come across a tick embedded in your skin. For the price, it’s kind of a no-brainer for anyone who tends to spend a decent amount of time outdoors in any place where there might be ticks.Build quality seems very good – these are sturdy, thick metal. Just make sure you familiarize yourself with how to use these before you actually need to use one, and you’re good to go!
