Excellent brush for long thick cat hair, Easy to use, easy to clean with one click
Excellent product! My cat has very thick hair. I can brush him maybe 5 minutes, getting gobs of hair,beautiful, push a button the hair drops off in a chunk, no mass or fuss, dropping it in the garbage. If you have a smaller cat that doesn’t shed very much I wouldn’t invest in this my other cat she doesn’t shed at all and I use that on her. It’s really not necessary I could use my hairbrush

Great value, gripping is perfect to get all the angles on your dog/cat. Works well on our XL chocolate Labrador and our 14lb short hair cat. Gentle on sensitive skin/coat and doesn’t snag. It cleans well!

Works but I had concerns.
Works for regularly furred pets, not so good on mega coats. I felt the tines were set too far apart. I appreciated the cleaning out tab to keep tines clear.

Tip for short-haired cats
Tip for short-haired cat owners: don’t brush from head to tail, brush downward from spine to feet. This made all the difference on my cat. It didn’t get any hair at all when brushing from head to tail. Switched directions and voila–no more hairballs.

Not for short haired cats
Does not grab my short haired cat’s hair. He has mats because he’s old and stopped grooming. I think it would be ok for a long haired cat. Seems a little flimsy for a big dog’s thick fur though.

My guy is a Dutch Shepherd/Husky mix, so he never stops shedding. It’s helps control the undercoat.

Love this brush
I actually purchased this one for my grand dog. His summer coat was starting to fall out and it was just a mess around the house. The brushes, my granddaughter had was hard to use pulling the old fur out of it. This brush combed him really well got the undercoat push the button and it released the fur that came out. This is my second one I bought one for my own dog. Whether your dog has thick coat or a thin coat like my dog, it’s a great brush.
