Work fine, but even in a fully protected socket the chickens find a way to break them. I have full grown chickens not chicks, so keep that in mind. I may buy again if nothing else available. These are decent lights for chicks, but weak at the base.

Got these to keep our baby chicks warm. Worked perfectly. Just had to raise and lower lights to adjust heat cooler or warmer. The red light is supposed to help the chicks be calmer.

These lights would work great in start and after 15-30 day of usage, they start to breakdown. Battery is fully charged but once you turn it on, the battery would drain in 5 minutes. Lights start and they start to flicker. –
