If you have ever been through a tick infested area, you probably have had some ticks attached to you as I have. If they just brush off, well good. But if they have already attached themselves it is not recommended to just pull them out as you may leave a part of the tick embedded in your skin and it can get infected or worse, give you one of the diseases they carry.I put this on a keyring which is attached to the pocket knife I take along when I go camping. It is a generous package of 3 so I will be giving one to my brother in law who lives on a farm and is exposed to ticks constantly. Good tool, easy to carry and inexpensive. Win all around.

Handy and essential tick removal tool for pets and people
Love that these come in a 3-pack. I keep one of these tick removers on my keychain and another clipped to my dog’s leash, and it gives me quick access whenever I need it. The tool is thin and light, so I barely notice carrying it, but it’s sturdy enough to use without bending or breaking. I had to remove a tick from my dog after a hike, and it worked smoothly without leaving anything behind. The shape makes it easy to slide under the tick and lift it out without much fuss. I’ve also used it once on myself after gardening, and it was just as effective. Because it’s made of metal, it feels durable and won’t wear out like some plastic tools I’ve tried in the past. Having three in the pack lets me keep one at home, one in my bag, and one with my pet gear. For anyone who spends time outdoors with pets and with the threat of lyme disease, it’s an essential tool to have on hand.

I Keep This On My Keychain For Convenience
I haven’t had to use this yet but I’m so glad I have it on my keychain because I know it will come in handy eventually. I live in Minnesota and tick season is coming up. These things are so convenient to have for six on yourself but mainly for when the dogs get ticks on them You just put it on there and it pops right off. These tick removers arrived on time and were packaged well and three of them came in the package. I gave one to every family members to make sure that everybody had these in the event they need them.

Good metal tick keys
My parents live in VT, and there are TONS of ticks there (unfortunately).One time we took the dogs on a walk in the woods and I ended up pulling 20 ticks off the dogs (and US!).These keys are the best way to remove the tick. You just slide the hole over the tick, and wedge them into the tight corner of the key. They pop right off.This pack comes with 3 aluminum keys, so you can leave one in the car, house, garage, etc. You could even strap one to the dogs leash.Unless you lose them, these will last a lifetime. They don’t really “wear out from use”.

These little devices are good for removing the tick without touching it or squeezing more saliva into the victim (like with tweezers). The golfers in the family and the pets bring in a steady supply of creatures to use these on. You get three in a plastic storage box. They are all the same size. So far they have worked well enough, but I haven’t had to remove any that have started to burrow in (the mouth and head buried). In that case, I’m not sure how these could remove the mouth or head without squeezing them; but I would be delighted to be surprised.
