Fabulous Value! Size and Sturdiness Appreciated by Large Cats!
– Very reasonable price for the quality- Shipped very quickly and well packaged- Very clear, well-organized assembly instructions- Large diameter, almost 3 feet high, and with a large, sturdy baseI have three large cats and it did not take them long to try out this scratching post. They can stand on their toes and stretch to their full heights while they scratch. This post is a match for their enthusiasm and does not wobble at all. I lightly sanded the wood parts and painted them before assembly (to match the room where the post is situated). I just ordered a second scratching post for another room. Yes, the cats will eventually wear the sisal rope out, which is expected. At that point, I can easily restore the post with sisal rope and a stable gun. I expect to share my home with cats and these scratching posts for years to come. Thank you!

The best scratching post out there.
I have had cats all my life and this is a scratching post they actually go to and use. It’s tall so they can really stetch out. It’s made with thick rope so they can really use their claws unlike the carpet type that frays and falls apart and it’s very strong. Very easy to put together too. I just bought a second one. Our cats use it and look at us for praise. Just love them.

Sturdy sand tall
Tall enough for my large kitties to stretch up and scratch high, and very very sturdy. Doesn’t rock or sway. It was also easy to assemble. Best scratching post I’ve ever purchased!

Tall, sturdy, and great quality for the price
Nice and sturdy — it feels well-constructed compared to other scratching posts we’ve bought. Time will tell if it holds up long-term, but so far I’m impressed with the build quality.It is a bit taller than expected for an average indoor cat. Once our cat wears out the bottom half of the sisal, I might just flip the top section down to extend its life. The perch at the top is really high — our cat likes sitting on it, but she can’t reach it without either jumping from nearby furniture or us giving her a boost.Overall, it’s great quality for the price. I’ve seen cat trees and posts that cost way more, and this one feels like a solid value.

Every cat needs a place to scratch
Assembly is easy peasy. I think it’s a great value for what you get. This is better and cuter than what I can find in pet stores near me. The neutral color works great in my living room. The base of the post is large enough to keep my cats from tipping it over but it isn’t obnoxious.My kitties took to it quickly, they love it and I love that my couch isn’t the center of attention.

Kitten approved but…
Update: I demoted my original review from five stars to three. Why? The overall weight of the scratching post is too light making it very easy to tip over if you have a bigger, heavier cat. Unless it’s pushed up against something, it will slide around on the floor and tip over. My kitten is only four pounds so that doesn’t create an issue but my two larger cats have difficulty with using it.Original:Very easy to assemble. In fact, I couldn’t get it together fast enough for my kitten! She’s obsessed with it. The only sugguestion I have is to apply wood glue to the two, 2″ dowels used to hold the base together otherwise it can partially separate. I kind of wish the base had fabric to make it easier for my cats to dig into something as they scratch.Another thing I appreciate about this tower is that I can disassemble and take the bottom and move it to the top. My cats tend to stretch and reach as high up as possible so the top of the posts are alwasy worn out but this is one of the only towers I have found that allows you to switch top to bottom so it’s getting evenly worn (you’ll get your money’s worth!).Weight is good and does not tip over. Base has four rubber feet you can add so your floor doest get scratched. Price is right, too! I’ll order another one when I need one!

Durable
My cat took to it right away after years of scratching an armchair. He’s 19lbs and has never knocked it over. I sprinkle catnip on it to keep him engaged. Great product!
