Good but be careful
Overall, I’m happy with my purchase.I do want to throw out there that within half hour of first use, it already became wrinkled (you can see it in the photo) because the sides are not super sturdy and therefore did not keep its shape 100%. I was a bit surprised by that because in the product photos where the person is using the shoulder strap, the shape is retained which is why I bought it. However, it is nice looking and seems to be good quality aside from the wrinkling. Side expansions, handles, shoulder strap, and three ways to unzip it is so helpful and made us both much more comfortable during travel. The furry inner lining is a plus as well, my pup was able to relax on our train ride.

Great for cats
Got this for my cat for after her surgery, I love how spacious it is and fluffy. The ends zip out for additional space and zip back up to make it comfy. I love the peek a noo spaces so.yoi can still see your furry buddy throuout the travel. Folds up easily, there’s a sturdy handle to carry them which prevents too much shaking while walking. Worth every Penny my cat loves it, sleeps in it sometimes too.

Decent carrier/ airport appropriate
We purchased this pet carrier for our 5.4 pound Chihuahua for traveling. It’s great! We purchased it around Christmas time and finally getting around to writing the review. The mesh netting is thin, seems pretty durable but we have a small dog. It’s great that you can expand it and allow your pet to move around. Our dog is tall, so he has to hunch down a little and we have to be mindful not to zip his fur into the carrier when we close him in. All in all, so far this carrier is decent. The plastic smell was pretty overwhelming. He would smell like the carrier when we first got it and traveled with him. You can still smell it but it’s not nearly as potent as when we first purchased it.

Its a great cat carrier, and doubles nicely as little hidey hole for kitties
ProsLight weightMy cats seem to like it a lot more than the older, plastic ones I always used.It can be doubled as a cat house (leave the front door unzipped) with plenty of room for them to get comfortable.The soft insert is washable (great if any accidents happen or a hairball happens)ConsIt can be a little difficult to get the sides zipped up, but nothing majorOne of the zipper pullers, from the side zipper, broke off after about 3 times of zipping/unzipping on one of my two carriers I ordered.Overall, I really recommend these for your kitties. The only reason I can’t 5 star it is a broken zipper handle on one of the two that I bought. But my cats really like them and I often find them curled up sleeping inside. And there’s enough room to add in a small throw blanket for extra warmth and comfort.

Great expandable space for your pet.
This has been a great purchase! The sides are easy to expand to make more room for you pet, and has excellent ventilation. We originally got this when we first got our puppy at 8 weeks, and now that she is full grown (about 20lbs), she still feels safe in it. If you need to store it, it folds up nicely and is easy to flatten out to save space. There is a soft fabric lined on the inside for a mat that snaps down in place making it comfy for your pet. It is easy to use when traveling in the car, and there is a strap to put the seatbelt through to secure in the car. I have been very happy with the purchase and would buy it again if the need comes up.

A purchase you will not regret!
We ordered two of these pet carriers to replace our old, cracking, plastic ones which we’ve had for over twenty years. Things like these weren’t really available back then & so the novelty of these really called out to us. Having received them we’ve found that our cats LOVE them!With the fold out sides, we leave these in different places in our apartment & they use them as covered cat beds. It makes them feel very secure. For our 7 pound Bombay it has plenty of room when closed up on the sides & more than enough room with the tent netting extended. It’s a little tighter for our 11 pound juvenile American short hair/rag doll cross but when you let out the sides it provides more than enough room for him to walk around a little & see what’s going on.The opening top is a nice touch as it allows you to pet them, offer them food or water while in transit. Definitely another edge it has over the old plastic pet carriers with only one way in or out. Speaking of when in transit these things work perfectly for what they were designed to do. There’s no signs of seams ripping, the mesh isn’t getting damaged by cat claws even when you play with them when it’s a barrier between you. Furthermore, the straps feel plenty secure.These roomy pet carriers tent-like appearance inspired us to take our two cats to the park to a barbecue recently. They love going out on our balcony already & being secure in these seems to have worked just as well. (They’re completely indoor cats so going outside in such controlled situations is a treat for them.)In any event I would recommend these to any pet owner, especially of the feline kind, if you want to give your kitty a better experience than being carried around in a tight fitting “case.”

Well made, great size, stores compact.
This is so much nicer than the big crate that I was using to haul my cat around. It is a nice size and I like how the sides open up to make it even larger. My cat is 16 pounds and it is plenty big even without opening up the sides but I like how it stores flat in my garage in between trips. It is very well made too. Also the top opens up which makes it easier to put my cat in.

Zipper Failure
Zippers fell off one by one. It was the whole zipper that broke. Wasn’t able to just replace pull tabs.Will not stand test of time.
