Pieces didn’t fit well, had to drill new holes myself – then it was fine
The holes for the hardware did not line up, so I did have to drill a few holes myself to get the pieces to fit together well (minus 1 star)Sturdy wood. My cat behaviorist pointed out I don’t have vertical territory that is big enough for the kitties to cuddle on, so adding this large shelf is just what the doctor ordered.

Poor quality
The shelf looks cute, but the pre-drilled holes didn’t allow for it to be assembled properly. When I connected the shelf to the back piece, utilizing the screws provided, the screws went through the shelf to where they were poking out. Returning.

Looks fine but wrong instructions
It looks good. The cats love it. The instructions are terrible and the wood does not align correctly. When screwing the pieces together, they don’t sit flush which gives a gap in between the boards. For the drywall anchors, they tell you the wrong size drill bit. Use the 23/64 drill bit, NOT the 3/8t

The wave bed is so cool! The cushion is soft and it’s huge. Our cat is 11lbs and we mounted into a stud on the wall.

PRO: Workable and can look and work well – if you are a handymanPRO: The depth and length is good for an actual and real cat – whereas most products have far too tiny shelves and faked out photography. A key reason I chose this productNOTE: This ships in half size pieces that must be assembled. Hence the issues.CONS Consistency and fitment of pieces:- The two wall mount pieces do not match and obviously came off of different machines- The groove is a different depth on each piece. This will leave a mismatch on the outside edge- The outside profile is different. When the groove is matched there is an obvious mismatch on one edge- The metal straps are a joke. They are too short and will not be strong enough- The metal strap holes do not line up with the wood pieces. Most likely and issue with the mismatched wood pieces.Fixment:- Glue the wall mount pieces together with Tite Bond and a long bar clamp. This will be far stronger than the cheesy straps- For the different channel depths I am considering stacking small washers around the mount holes on the deep side- Glue the curved boards together – using the wall mount (and possibly alignment washers) as an in place guide.- – It will probably be necessary to use one of their straps temporarily to maintain alignment on the outside edge.- Sand mismatched edges. I will see if the cover makes this moot but if visible I’ll trim up.PRO: I believe this will look and work well – but only after gluing and fitment work – which should not be necessary.
