It definitely will heat up a small space, too well if it’s enclosed. Had to return it since my cats did not like the sound of the fan and plus it heated up the cat house too hot.

This heater is exactly what our dogs needed
I got this chicken coop heater for our dogs to use in their dog house. This heater really puts out some heat. My son pulled it out of the box and hooked it up in the living room to test it out and see how it would work out and after a while we had to open the windows of the house because it got too warm.It can be used laying on its back or mounted on the wall with the bracket.We like how it has a durable non chewable wire because our dogs can be ding dongs sometimes. They literally just chewed a wire the other day on something else we had.There are 2 levels of heat that can be used. What’s great about it is it has a fan in it so it really circulates the air around.Another good thing is it has a detachable filter that you can pull off to clean. With the dogs shaking and moving around in there, hair is definitely going to get on the filter. Especially the kind of dogs we have, we have 4 Great Pyrenees.Our only regret is that we didn’t get this heater a lot sooner. It is exactly what our dogs needed.

This is an excellent choice for keeping pets or small animals comfortable during cold weather, be it an outdoor cats, dogs, tortoises, chickens, and more. This can also be used indoors or outdoor, which I really like especially during winter months. I like how the adjustable 300W/600W settings provides just the right amount of warmth, making it suitable for a variety of spaces. I also like how the heater operates quietly, so it doesn’t disturb my Tortoise’s beauty rest. As for the built-in overheat protection, it adds an important layer of safety, which is a very important feature to me. The bite-proof wires is an excellent feature as well, ensuring durability even in outdoor or any playful environments. This is also easy to install.Overall, this is a great value and a practical solution for keeping my outdoor Sulcata Tortoise warm and cozy during colder months. I highly recommend this to other pet parents out there.

Would not recommend for deep bedding coops. Might be great for dog houses
I got this for my small chicken coop, and it worked wonderfully for two days. Unfortunately, after the 3rd day it broke :(. It ended up being gunked up with a gray ash, shaking and making a horrible noise. I would not recommend this for chicken coops. I think my winter deep bedding method coop was just too much for the air intake.It did heat the space nicely when it was working, and I can see how it could work well for a clean doghouse, or any small relatively dust free clean space.

Small forced air heater
Works ok for a small space. The heat is only adjustable via the switch on the power cord.. hi or low. The internal fan does move SOME air but not a lot. There is no remote control. Needs adequate air flow around the unit or it will get too hot and melt as the housing is completely made of plastic. I will say that if you have a small/medium dog house it will stay pretty comfortable. Quality is ok…no remote, no adjustable thermostat, all plastic construction.. but does function ok. Value to dollar is ok.. not the best, not the worst.
