Great for Cats
I wish I could upload the photo, but I don’t have the means. When I do, I will post another review. What I cans say is make sure you use the long screws and if it’s drywall, go ahead and drill a hole and place the plastic piece into the drywall before screwing in the long screws provided. Make sure it’s screwed into a stud. These steps need to be sturdy because cats who love to climb high (not all cats do), they will use them, bounding up and down like a mountain goat. And some cats way more than others. Mine is about 11.5 pounds. My cat loves her stairway ( I bought 2 sets) as they lead to the very top part of my closet which is separated from the bottom part by doors. Old fashioned for storage, but I leave one side door open for her. I am planning on buying a few more to put close to other places she loves to get too, but isn’t allowed to get to because the route is too dangerous yet, heavily laden book shelves etc. All I know is these are sturdy. And, like anything else installed on a wall, will last a long time if installed properly. I had to screw into lath and plaster walls, very old style, but so far they have been holding well, I used a stud finder, and went for every 16 inches from the edge to find them. I could feel the screw as it drilled into a long piece of wood, so it was a stud, not a lath. In the 1930’s when my house was built, the army corp of engineers were using studs of real size 2 x 4’s behind the lathe and plaster every 16 inches on center and happily they are the ones that built my very sturdy house. So I am very happy with these products from the Fukumara Company. This company seems very aware of feline behavior and needs and they obviously love cats because their products show a level of sturdiness and safety I haven’t found elsewhere. Very Very Happy, and so is my cat!

Good addition to cat wall
I bought these stairs to go along with some other shelves in order to create a “cat wall” for my kitties. The stairs were easy to assemble, and I really appreciate how the stairs are wrapped in twine to ensure the cats get a good grip. The only issue I had was with mounting the stairs the wall. The packaged screws were not strong enough to drill all the way into the wall studs, and then stripped out when I tried to remove them. I went to the hardware store and got different screws and was more successful. To be honest, I would not trust drywall anchors alone to support the stairs, and would only recommend purchasing if you know that at least one of the screws can be drilled into a wall stud. Once installed, I can report that my younger cat has been able to easily navigate the stairs (older cat has never had much interest with heights and so hasn’t attempted it). Overall, I think it was a worthwhile addition.

Ok now I’m pissed. I ordered a return. My cat this thing rips off the wall I decided to return then I see it’s a replacement idk what happened but I don’t appreciate the extra now having to return also. This did not work for me and it’s very heavy I think that’s why it can’t hold up.. a cat shelf should be able to hold atleast 15lb cat.Gave an extra stars as seller reached out to try to help. I think it needs better brackets to work. But as I said in my original review I’m not that savvy yet. Maybe one day I’ll revisit this and try it knowing I’ll have to spend more.

I got this four step ladder, one that goes right to the left and one that goes left to the right. And also one piece of the floating shelf in the same series. I am very pleased with all three parts! The material is of high quality, solid wood. They are easy to assemble and even come with screws for mounting in the wall. My cats weigh about 5 kg each and now after around two years of using them they still sit firmly on the wall. It’s great that there are so many different parts, as this creates endless opportunities for how you want to design your play wall for your cats. If I am to ever buy something similar again I would definitely consider this seller. Thank you!
