What happened?
This litter WAS awesome when I started using it about a year ago. I don’t know what happened.The GOOD:I love that it’s lightweight.Comes in a plastic bag inside of a cardboard box. Easy to carry, easy to pour. Haven’t had a problem with it arriving with an open bag.I like that it’s not a yet another plastic jug.I re-use the bag as a trash bag when doing yard cleanup or will sometimes wash it out and use it to put items out in storage in my resin-type shed.It’s unscented, although there is an ever so slight…I don’t even want to call it a fragrance but it’s not offensive at all. (and I’m pretty sensitive).The ONLY time I smell anything in the litter box is RIGHT AFTER one of my cats poops. Only lasts 20 mins or so. Never had an issue with it smelling after they pee. And even if I’m away a day or two, they are no issues with odor when I return. You cannot tell I have two cats like you can sometimes when entering a home with a litter box.It’s easy to scoop, just make sure you’re topping it off to keep the level up. )It really only sticks to the bottom/sides of you’re running low.)All that said, what the heck happened to this??The BAD: (!!!)It TRACKS EVERYWHERE. I have a large litter mat, and an extra one in their walking path when they exit the box. There is STILL litter tracked everywhere.Their box is the bathroom (unless I’m gone for an extended time and have someone checking in on them- then I put it out in the kitchen).So they track it through the bathroom, through my bedroom and to to the kitchen. (There is even litter on my bed, I have keep to a sheet over the top.)I have even put down towels for them to walk on and it STILL GETS EVERYWHERE.Also, it’s dustier than it used to be. I have to cover my mouth/nose when I do their box or I start coughing. (I guess those leftover face masks come in come in handy again all). The dust also tends to settle on surfaces; it never used to.Needless to say, I’m on the hunt for another brand. I may have to go back to the regular clumping. I used to use the Fresh Step unscented that comes in the 4pk of bags, but the price kept going way up on it. My daughter used the Tidy Cat lightweight, so I figured I’d try it out. Loved it when I first starting using it. Have tried others – like the Cat’s Pride (terrible), so will have to keep looking.Good luck!I try to be moreIt gotten dustier than it was and also- it TRACKS EVERYWHERE!!! First choice, low dust- good for cats with asthma or other respiratory issues
This is my first choice in litter out of any brand I have tried. I like that it’s lightweight, it clumps well, hides the smell, and the dust is super low. I have a cat with asthma and we have had to try different brands because of the dust. Whether we are pouring it or he’s digging in it, it could cause breathing issues. This type doesn’t seem to trigger his asthma. I have 3 cats and they seem to like this brand, as other, heavier litter, they have not dug in so much and barely covered their waste. Now it’s like a sandbox. It seems to last awhile too. Although I do change out the litter frequently due to number of cats.

EXPENSIVE BUT NO STINK AND LIGHT WEIGHT

This cat litter works good because it is light in weight. It soaks up the urine and dries up the BM which makes it easy to scoop. All with less stink to deal with. My only complaint, I’d like to see the buckets back. I hate dealing with boxes and bags.
