Great box but not worth the cost based on it being more “time-consuming” to use as intended.
I got the largest size available (26.3 inches x 15.7 inches x 5.9 inches) since I have 4 cats, one of whom is VERY particular about his litter and litter box.Pros:- Securely packaged so the pans didn’t get scratched during shipping- It is HUGE and the sides are tall!- The included “sifting bag” is absolutely adorable and definitely big enough. I will probably line it with a bag though before dumping the clean/sifted litter in it because I love it and don’t want it getting the least bit dirty- Sifting worked decently…tho I made a mess and think I may have over-filled it…?Cons:- Mine arrived with a noticeable dent on the sides of both pans (shouldn’t affect performance tho)- A little…”worried” about the cleaning and all the instructions It comes with. Since it’s stainless steel, I can’t imagine it would need to be thoroughly cleaned weekly? I will definitely be sifting it and dumping the waste daily but a thorough cleaning AND replacing ALL litter weekly?!? Not gonna happen cuz that would cost me a fortune! I put in baking soda before the litter as I always do so hopefully that will help/prevent any cleaning issues.- After the first use by my kitties (at least they used it), just not a fan. After sifting and disposing of the waste, realized I need to use the sifting bag to re-set everything back up. Most “systems” of this sort include a third tray for ease of resetting everything rather than an adorable bag.- More “time consuming” than “time saving” based on how the box needs to be re-set. So bummed. Will likely just use it as a regular, multi-day, scoopable litter box (which will likely work fine so that’s why I’m giving this 3 stars as opposed to 2…BUT probably not worth the cost if using this way)

Easy to use and easy to clean
Great litterbox! This sifting catbox is really easy to use. You just put the sifting pan inside the regular pan and then fill with litter as usual. Then instead of lifting out a litterbag with all the litter in it, you lift out the sifting pan and the good litter is left in the box but the clumps of dirty litter and poop are left in the sifting pan. Then you just dump it all in the (included) reusable litter bag to dump later in the garbage. When you put the sifting pan back in the litterbox, you will need to shake it a bit in order to move the sifter down to the bottom and get the litter back on top – but its not hard to do. This pan and sifter is made of stainless steel so its easy to clean (no plastic litter bags needed) – you can wipe it down or (as I do) hose it down and wipe dry. This litter box system is an excellent value for the cost and I would get another one as a gift for my daughter.

Just not for me.
I really wanted to like this product, but it just isn’t something I can use. Don’t get me wrong. It seems like a good item, with its very cute litter bag and stickers for the bottom so it doesn’t slide around. The problem is that when it has litter in it i couldn’t get the sifter out of the pan. It was way to heavy and/or suction had caused it to just be not liftable. I even tried scooping the soiled litter out, but i still couldn’t lift it. I had only enough litter in there so that my kitties wouldn’t get their claws stuck in the shifter holes, but apparently that’s not the problem. At the age of 54 it’s getting harder and harder to bend and scoop. I’ve been a pooper scooper my whole life, and would have loved to be able to have switched, but I’m destined to just scoop.

Absolute game changer for litter duty
I wanted to move from traditional scoop litter and give this sifting litter box a try and it is an absolute game changer. The stainless steel design is sturdy and effortless to clean compared to plastic. My favorite part is that I no longer feel like I am just wasting away plastic bags just to get rid of my cat’s waste. It saves a lot of time trying to make sure you scoop everything because the sifting tray does the hard work for you. You just lift the tray, shake it out, and you are done. If you want to cut down on waste and make cleanup faster, this box is amazing.
