Not Bad, But Not Amazing…
I bought these due to the price point and high reviews. I have two Lynx Point Siamese, siblings. Our male is kinda between a short & medium fur length with guard hairs, and our female is a medium fur length with guard hairs, both have an under-fur. Both are very soft, guard hairs excluded. Although they’re a medium fur length, they shed A LOT. You have to kinda gather the fur released when you pet them, and if not brushed, they have issues vomiting fur balls. I’ve bought three vacuum/sweeping robots to help keep up with the tumbleweeds of fur that come off these two, and have to sweep the stairs with a hand vacuum every other day. I’ve also bought various brushes, some meant specifically for under-fur. The under-fur ones work well, but aren’t great for casual petting sessions cause they can irritate their skin over time. I was hoping I could use these for casual petting/grooming, and to pull off some of the fur off the furniture & cat tree (and maybe my coats & clothing so I don’t have to roll everything constantly!!)Both cats were scared of the gloves at first, and they’re big & clunky on my small hands. The rough wrist material & Velcro irritates my wrists, and because they’re too big and the “brush” material so limited on the fingers, it’s hard to direct that material for brushing. Girl cat is highly motivated by food, so using treats as a bribe, I finally got her to allow me to give her a good grooming with the gloves. Like many Siamese & Siamese related breeds, she has Rippling Back Disease, so her back is sensitive & I always have to be gentle when petting her there. It took some time figuring out the correct pressure to use petting her with the gloves so they still picked up fur, but didn’t set off her sensitivity. Boy cat is still on the fence about the gloves – he’s tolerating them because he likes the attention, but not happy about them.I did attempt to use these on my bedspread, where they’d deposited an outline of fur of my boy cat while brushing, and they just kinda spread the fur around. They didn’t pick up anything on my clothes (and if they had any fur on them from the last brushing, they deposited fur). The only fur they picked up on the cat tree was the hard to vacuum stuff building up in the corners, which normally I get with a brush.Overall I wouldn’t recommend these for anything but brushing cats. They did pull off a decent amount off shedding fur over a longer grooming session, but I suspect they’d work better on longer furred animals. The black mesh material tends to be harder to get the fur off, so I wish glove had more of the silicone material covering it. It’s a good idea, but I suspect a pair with more silicone coverage would work better. Still, I gave 4/5 stars for the price, that you get two gloves, and for what amount of fur they do pull off kitties, and that I think my cats will get used to them over time.

Great for cats that don’t like brushes
I have two short hair cats. One is ridiculously playful and wants to bite the brush. One is timid and thinks the brush is scary. This is perfect for both of them. Able to just pet them and remove the loose fur. It will pull fur as deeply as you pet. I usually alternate between deep and soft strokes so the cats don’t get bored and also so that I can get deep fur and surface fur too. A few wipes of the glove and the fur clumps up and falls off into the trash. Glove is comfortable and airy so it doesn’t get hot, uncomfortable, or smelly over time.

Dogs go NUTS!! **UPDATE**
I have 3 large white dogs with short hair that think they are getting a massage. It removes the undercoat that is usually constantly being shedded off the dog and the rubber tips grips the hair for it to come off like a comb.I have had only 1 glove originally, but I will say 2 makes the job a lot faster and easier. Pulling the hair off and washing after use is a breeze. My dogs literally will flow you through the house if they see these out.Worth EVERY PENNY!**UPDATE**Only after 3 uses, I am having to return the gloves. I have short hair dogs and the gloves started ripping at the base that wraps around your wrist. I was really hoping they would last. They DO work great on removing pet hair, but not so great as they rip apart. 🙁

Awesome bathing gloves – for dog or cat
I ordered these because my dogs got fleas & bathing with just my hands wasn’t getting the flea shampoo to suds up enough. Not only do these suds up the shampoo, they massage the skin and help get loose hair off them. I’m in a bathe every 4 days or so cycle right now and these are a very good tool in my fight.Highly recommend – only drawback is the fur that gets stuck in the nubs, still figuring out best way to do de-hair. lol

These gloves are great for deshedding my husky mixy! She is constantly shedding and these gloves make petting her a easy way to brush her. They are also great for bathing and scrubbing out even more fur!

Excellent, BUT! There’s definitely a trick to peeling off the cat hair.
We got these gloves a few days ago and they’re definitely a success. One of our cats isn’t a huge fan, but he’ll let us groom him for a minute or two. Our other cat LOOOOVES these and will keep turning around so that we can get different spots. She’s also a huge shedder, so it’s good that she’s the one that took to the gloves.What I found almost immediately was that yeah, these gloves don’t get everything. I’m covered with cat hair, there’s hair floating around. They’re not perfect. Still, they capture most of it, so overall, they’re fine.I found that if there’s not much cat hair on the gloves, it won’t peel off easily. More hair = easier peeling.MOST IMPORTANTLY, though, is that you should try to brush your pet in a circular motion. This mats the hair together on the gloves and THAT is what makes it possible to peel all the hair off in one big piece. If you just brush your pet in one direction, the hair will lie in mostly one direction and it’s much more difficult to get it off the glove. You have to peel very gently, and ease it off carefully, and you’ll still have little hairs around the edges sticking to the fabric mesh, but by and large, it works. Groom your cat thoroughly, in a circular motion, and see if that works better.I did take off a star because the mesh tore away a little from the Velcro wristband the very first time I put on the gloves, but they’re still usable, they works well, and my shedding monster cat loves them.Also, my teenage son took the video and I would apologize for the lack of focus on my hand, but…teenager. What can I say. 🤷🏽♂️

I have two 7 yr old BSH cats, who have always resisted being groomed, but they love these. The girl in particular is obsessed, and constantly pesters me, refusing to move till I have groomed her. Her brother also enjoys it.It can be difficult to get the hair off the gloves: I find a lint roller helps.In short, your cat will probably love this….if you have plenty of time to spare!
