Good To Have On Hand
I have been fortunate not to need these for actual tick removal as of yet, but I am glad to have them in my first aid/outdoors kit. The grip when closed is great on it’s own, but I appreciate that there is room at the end to hold additional pressure if needed. They are compact enough to toss into our bag and go but much longer than regular tweezers so you have more control.

Just twist
This tool is easy to use and effective fro removing ticks from my dog. Tweezers are difficult to use because fur always gets in the way, and using sufficient grip to hold the tick often crushes the tick. This tool grips the tick lightly. You can then twist the tick a few times to dislodge it, and easily remove it.

It’s ok, not better than hemostats
It’s tick country here. My pets will come home with a tick now and then and I thought I’d try this to see if it works better than the hemostats that I normally use. I found it harder to manipulate and that made it a slower process to try to hold my cat still while getting the tick off.This is a tweezer-like appliance but I find it more difficult to try to get the grabby part where you want it.It’s well made, sturdy and it does work but I just find it awkward because I’m so used to a more scissor like function as with hemostats.Good price for the quality.

The metal is impressive quality and the rebound is very strong. I like that they’re all metal so there’s no plastic pieces to break or wear out. I’ve come across my fair share of ticks and bee stings over the years and the action of these being a clamp style rather than skinny pointers is quite effective. For the price, I’d say these are well worth it for a long life of use.

Good Sturdy Tool for Tick Removal
Ticks are no fun, and neither is trying to remove them with a pair of tweezers, although I have gotten so good at it, I’ve removed one from about every close family member and their pets by now. I’m hoping this makes this inevitable task much easier. The tool opens when you squeeze it vs. closing, ie: tweezers. This lets you grip the tick much easier.
